Kim is the Manager of Volunteer Services and In-Kind Donations at Anna Marie's Alliance. She sees volunteerism as making a positive difference in the lives of those volunteering, and those who are receiving these special gifts of time. "There is no way our organization could do the wonderful work we do without our volunteers. Right now our unpaid staff are the equivalent of 5.5 FTE every day!"

Bree is the Client Services Coordinator at the Central MN Sexual Assault Center. She feels volunteerism is important because it brings our communities closer together. "Those involved with each agency can eradicate the myths in society around their services and better educate the community."

Jennifer is the Volunteer Coordinator at RSVP. She feels that volunteering makes a big impact on community. "It enables people of all ages to get involved, meet others, make a difference and maintain a healthy lifestyle."

Megan is the Volunteer Program Lead at CentraCare - St. Cloud Hospital. "Volunteerism creates a healthy community, allows individuals to socialize, network and meet new friends. it helps to develop job skills and explore careers, but most importantly volunteering allows you to make a difference in someone else's life."

Mary is the Volunteer Engagement Manager at the United Way of Central Minnesota. She feels volunteerism builds a healthy community. "Whether volunteering to help a family in need, mentor a child, or provide transportation, it's through the efforts of ordinary people that we can do extraordinary things to help our community thrive!"

Maddy is the Community Engagement Coordinator at Pathways 4 Youth. "Volunteerism is so important because it is a way to both give back to the community in a huge way and find a place that you can share your skills and talents. Volunteers in our area are so vital to what makes the non-profit world work so well. Most volunteers that serve also have the opportunity to find a community of friends that become lifelong."
