Bree is the Director of Client Services at Central MN Sexual Assault Center (CMSAC). She feels volunteerism is a way of giving back to your community in a positive way. "If we did not have volunteerism we would not be as successful as we are as agencies in Central MN"

Janel is the Caregiver and Companion Services Program Coordinator for Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota. 

Janel knows first hand how volunteers impact a program, as she states "Volunteers are the backbone of our program". 

Janel knows that her own volunteer experiences bring her joy, opportunities to get to know and spend time with others while helping others and the community.

Laurie is the Parent Literacy, Volunteer, and Projects Specialist at Reach-Up Head Start. 

Laurie enjoys working with volunteers at her agency, orchestrating so many "feel good" opportunities. She enjoys observing the positive relationships between volunteers and the children in the classrooms, and how those relationships impact the growth and development of the children. 

Megan is the Volunteer Program Lead at CentraCare - St. Cloud Hospital. "Volunteerism creates a healthy community, allows individuals to socialize, network and meet new friends. It helps to develop job skills and explore careers, but most importantly volunteering allows you to make a difference in someone else's life."

Mary is the Volunteer Engagement Manager at the United Way of Central Minnesota. She feels volunteerism builds a healthy community. "Whether volunteering to help a family in need, mentor a child, or provide transportation, it's through the efforts of ordinary people that we can do extraordinary things to help our community thrive!"

Tauna is the Program Coordinator for AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP. In her role she pairs volunteers aged 55 and older with organizations making change throughout Central Minnesota.  For more than 25 years she’s worked alongside thousands of people who share their time and talent through volunteering. She has experienced and witnessed the power of volunteering, “Matching passionate volunteers with meaningful volunteer experiences benefit both the individual and the community.”
