The Tri-CAP Volunteer Driver Program serves Benton, Morrison & Stearns County by providing rides to area residents primarily for medical needs. During 2008 over fifty volunteer drivers provided 25,000 one-way trips, gave over 25,000 hours and ran over ½ million miles. Mileage reimbursement is paid at the federal IRS rate. Our volunteers say that driving people to medical and other similar appointments gives them a good feeling.
